The Creative Curriculum Cooperative
The Creative Curriculum Cooperative is a community of online educators dedicated to bringing our unique creative interests to the academic subjects we love to teach. We are experienced educators that guide learners through making everything from doodles to graphic organizers to scientific illustrations to explore academic subjects. We strive to create warm, safe, online learning spaces that respect and celebrate our global network of neurodiverse learners of all belief systems, racial and LGBTQ+ identities, and socioeconomic statuses. We support one another as we build our online teaching businesses through our organization, providing families on the Outschool learning platform a source of reliably fantastic, unique classes on any number of subjects, delivered by excellent educators.
Our Story
In 2018, Teacher Benjamin Corey began delivering online science classes from a kitchen table in Mexico City. After a career as a public high school teacher, he had discovered the online learning platform Outschool while living and traveling in Latin America. A lifelong artist fascinated by ancient and modern animal life, Ben has always used drawings, cartoons, and other creative techniques to tap into the creativity and curiosity of his learners. Six years later, Ben has earned over 4200 Five Star reviews and expanded into the Creative Curriculum Cooperative to help support other teachers looking to develop their own online teaching businesses, whether they wish to supplement a full-time income or develop one through the Cooperative. The CCC has one of the largest and best review bases on the Outschool platform, with over 9000 families that follow our classes.
